The invention relates to a method for the production of 4-(17α-alkoxymethyl-17β-substituted 3-oxoestra-4,9-dien-11β-yl)benzaldehyd-(1E)-oxime derivatives of general formula (I), where R = amino, O-C1-7 alkyl or O-aryl, S-C1-7 alkyl or S-aryl, NH-C1-7 alkyl or NH-aryl or N-(C1-7 alkyl)2; R1 = H or C1-6 alkyl, which produces the target compounds of formula (I) with high yield and selectivity.
