A pharmaceutical composition comprising synergistic amounts of the selective estrogen receptor modulator (-)- cis-6-phenyl-5-(4-(2-pyrrolidin-1-yl-ethoxy)-phenyl)- 5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalene-2-ol, and parathyroid hormone, and the use of which for the treatment of musculoskeletal frailty.
