PURPOSE: A method for separating nonmetal ore from waste slurry is provided to prevent secondary environmental pollution by regenerating the waste slurry generated in large quantities from industrial companies, thereby extracting regenerated oil and regenerated nonmetal ore so that they are recycled in the industrial companies. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the processes of mixing 1 to 20 wt.% of nonionic surfactant and 5 to 50 wt.% of alcohol or solvent with waste slurry for more than 5 minutes to 10 hours so that the waste slurry is reacted with nonionic surfactant and alcohol or solvent; centrifugal separating the mixture using a centrifugal separator so that the mixture is separated into layers containing identical ore by difference of specific gravity; separately containing the centrifugal separated layers of ore into separate containers using oil pump per each layer; drying the separated layers of ore using dryer per product application as occasion demands; and passing the dried layers of ore through classifier as occasion demands, thereby sorting the dried layers of ore per sizes so that resulting materials are recycled.
