METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CHIP-TYPE COMMON MODE CHOKE COIL

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing chip-type common mode choke coil is provided to make a surface mounting of a common mode choke coil easy by inserting a square shape body into respectively both sides of a cylindrical coil. CONSTITUTION: A first process forms a pair of coils. A second process forms a square shape body which has a terminal connection unit. A third process combines the square shape body with the pair of coils. The first process consists of a process for forming a cylindrical extrusion molding body, a process for coating the surface of the cylindrical extrusion molding body with a metal layer, a process for forming a coil pattern on the metal layer, and a process for forming an insulation layer on the cylindrical extrusion molding body.
