PURPOSE: A washing machine with a door opening/closing sensing unit is provided to reduce the limit in the mechanical installation position and coupling conditions and prevent the deformation or frictional noise due to the mechanical switch operation. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine with a door opening/closing sensing unit includes a door(33) for opening or closing a clothing injecting hole(11), at least more than one piezo-electric elements(43a,43b) operating by the opening or closing of the door and an output part for outputting electric signals generated by the piezo-electric elements, wherein a microprocessor(49) is further provided between the piezo-electric elements and the output part for outputting control signals according to voltage signals generated from the piezo-electric elements.
