FIELD: printing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of changing position of flexible flat articles, for instance, printed matter, delivered in cascade flow to first conveyor. Device 16 has shifting means 18 displaced by drive 22 along path 24. Said means are set into motion at velocity V equal to velocity (V₂) of second conveyor 14 to which shifting means 18 fed articles 28 at preset distance A from each other. Articles are delivered in cascade flow (S₁) on first conveyor 12 which feeds them to operating zone of position changing device. EFFECT: increased capacity at spare handling of articles. 10 cl, 7 dwg
