The invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer sheet material while using a film, which is based on polyolefins, contains at least one organic peroxide compound, and serves as a wear layer. The invention also relates to a film, which is based on polyolefins and contains at least one peroxide compound. Finally, the invention relates to a floor covering, which comprises this film that is applied as a wear layer.
