The braking system incorporates an ABS system (10), which has a weight of less than 0,7kg, pref. less than 0,5kg. The system incorporates a pressure modulation unit with a piston, which over at least part of its surface has a friction-reducing coating. The ABS has a micro-electronically controlled eccentric shaft, and this interacts with the piston via an eccentric. The shaft has a slide bearing, the eccentric has a cylindrical low-friction jacket surface and a needle bearing.
