The magnetic core consists of U shaped elements or laminates of silicon steel that are laminated together. The laminates are in groups [11-13] with their arms having different lengths. The end core also has groups [21-23] of laminates with various thicknesses. When placed together an air gap of varying sizes is created to provide different output powers.
