Manufacturing a laminated core (2) made of many stacked electrical sheets, comprises activating an adhesive coating of an electrical steel sheet in an apparatus (1), connecting the laminated core to the electrical steel sheet under pressure and punching the electrical steel sheet from a metal strip immediately before the stapling or stacking. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated core, comprising a punch, a deposition unit (4), and a pressure piston, where the pressure piston and the punch are designed as a multi-function tool (3); and (2) an adhesive for the production of the laminated core made of many stacked electrical sheets which are connected by the adhesive, where the adhesive is activated and/or cured by the action of temperature and/or electromagnetic radiation, which comprises ultraviolet radiation and/or infrared radiation in an anaerobic environment.
