PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing a trouble such as generation of a large amount of black smoke caused by an advance control by means of a low temperature start advance mechanism, while taking advantage of improvement in startability of an engine by means of the low temperature start advance mechanism.;SOLUTION: In a distributor type fuel-injection pump, a main port and a sub port exclusive for overflow are formed in a plunger barrel 17. The distributor type fuel-injection pump 1 comprises: an actuator 41 for reducing a fuel injection amount, which is controlled by an ECU and operates an operating piston 41a so as to turn a tension lever 12 of a governor device 20 in a direction reducing the fuel injection amount; and the low temperature start advance mechanism 30 which is controlled by the ECU and opens/closes the sub port 34 depending on detection values of a cooling water temperature sensor detecting an engine cooling water temperature. During operation of the low temperature start advance mechanism 30, the ECU operates the actuator 41 for reducing a fuel injection amount to reduce the fuel injection amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
