PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage conversion device which can detect any anomaly in a voltage converter.;SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 8 detects the reactor temperature TL of a reactor L1 and outputs it to a controller 30. A temperature sensor 9 detects the temperature TC of NPN transistors Q1 and Q2 and outputs it to the controller 30. The controller 30 compares the reactor temperature TL with two reference values TLh and TLl, and compares the temperature TC with two reference values TCh and TCl. The controller 30 detects which of the reactor L1 and the NPN transistors Q1 and Q2 is anomalous according to combinations of the results of comparison of the reactor temperature TL with the two reference values TLh and TLl and the results of comparison of the temperature TC with the two reference values TCh and TCl.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
