AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONAL TEST PROCEDURE GENERATION METHOD AND GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic functional test procedure generation method and generation system that can produce a high quality functional test procedure in a system device.;SOLUTION: The automatic functional test procedure generation system comprises a functional specification analysis processing part 20 for analyzing input functional specifications to extract functions, a knowledge database control processing part 30 for generating functional test items for every function and extracting corresponding functional test item contents from a knowledge database 36, and an automatic functional test generation processing part 40 for outputting a functional test procedure from the functional test item contents. The functional test procedure is produced in high quality preventing common variations in test item quality seen in a conventional manual method, and with efficiency suppressing omission of functional test check items.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
