CALCULATION METHOD FOR DK JOINT PROOF STRESS/INITIAL RIGIDITY AND STRUCTURE DESIGN METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL TRUSS STEEL PIPE STRUCTURE AND BUILDING BY USE OF IT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely calculating proof stress and initial rigidity of a DK joint and to provide a structure design method for a three-dimensional truss steel pipe structure and a building by use of it.;SOLUTION: Proof stress and initial rigidity are obtained using deformation in a joint part of a branch pipe on compression side as joint part local deformation in numerical experiment concerning the DK joint and an SK joint by use of FEM analysis or structure experiment of life size. Conversion coefficient is obtained by comparing per opening angle ω and ratio of main pipe diameter to main pipe thickness, D/T (D: main pipe diameter, T: Main pipe thickness) of the DK joint, and proof stress and initial rigidity of the SK joint are multiplied by the conversion coefficient to obtain proof stress and initial rigidity of the DK joint. As for proof stress, proof stress of the SK joint is obtained by the academic world guideline expression, and the expression obtained by multiplying the academic world guideline expression by the conversion coefficient is proof stress calculation expression for the DK joint.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
