PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGM reproduction system and a BGM player which automatically delete old files.;SOLUTION: The BGM reproduction system 10 has a validity term confirming means 45 of setting terms of validity to contents and a reproducing program stored in the BGM player 16 connected to a network and reproducing a plurality of contents by the reproducing program and confirming the terms of validity of the contents and reproducing program and also has a file deleting means 47 of deleting contents and the reproducing program when the validity term confirming means 45 confirms the set terms of validity of the contents and reproducing program once the time of an internal timer 52 is adjusted to the standard time by connection with an NTP server 50 at the time of connection with the network and the terms of validity of the contents and reproducing program expire.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
