PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup adopting a two-wavelength light source module. PSOLUTION: The optical pickup is characterized in that it includes a light source module wherein first and second light sources emitting first and second light beams having wavelengths different from each other are formed into a single package, a collimating lens wherein the first and/or the second light beams are made incident in an object lens in a convergent or divergent optical state and a finite optical system is formed and a first optical element disposed on optical paths of the first and the second light beams and functioning as a lens to only one of the first and the second light beams to correct positional tolerance along the advancing directions of the first and the second light beams. By using the optical pickup, the positional tolerance along the light traveling axes of the two light sources in the light source module can be corrected and the first optical element additionally has a function to make the two light traveling axes coincide with each other, or the light traveling axes of the two light beams emitted from the light source module can be made to coincide with each other when an another second optical element for making light traveling axes of the two light beams coincide with each other is further prepared.
