PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit description (CD) conversion method for shortening the time required for circuit simulation.;SOLUTION: In the CD converting method for converting the CD of a plurality of buffer circuit elements, in order to perform simulation of a plurality of buffer circuit elements which are connected to a power supply wiring connected to a power source and each of which drives a load, at least the buffer circuit element the farthest from the power source out of a plurality of buffer circuit elements is remained as the CD by a physical model and the other buffer circuit elements are converted from the CD by the physical model to a CD by a functional descriptive model.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
