PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper which forms highly accurately an optical disk substrate in which two kinds of regions of a read-only ROM region and a recording and reproducing region in which recording/reproducing or recording/reproduction/erase can be performed coexist in the same plane while preventing abnormal transfer, and to provide a method for manufacturing an optical disk substrate, a die for forming an optical disk substrate, an optical disk substrate, and an optical information recording medium.;SOLUTION: In a stamper 1, the cross-sectional shape of a pit 3 or a groove 4 being a projecting part of the stamper 1 is formed in a multi-stage shape so that its tip part becomes increasingly slender stepwise. Therefore, the occurrence of abnormal transfer by the contact of the projecting part of the stamper 1 with a part at which the projecting part is transferred onto the optical disk substrate 6 can be prevented at the time of peeling of the optical disk substrate 6, and transfer can be performed highly accurately.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
