PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE device which enables a user to easily select and book KARAOKE music relating to music broadcasted in a music program even when exactly the same music is not prepared on the KARAOKE device side. SOLUTION: Program relative data 51 in text data form which are superposed on a broadcast signal of a music program of digital broadcasting are obtained, a character string extracted from the data is used as a retrieval key to retrieve music property data 33 stored systematically on a hard disk 5 of the KARAOKE device together with accompaniment music data 29 and text video data 31, and a list of title names and singer's names of KARAOKE music corresponding to the retrieved music property data 33 is displayed on a display 7 to accept the booking of music in the display.
