METHOD FOR DETECTING MOVEMENT TRAJECTORY OF KNEE HINGE OF ORTHOSIS AND ORTHOSIS FOR RELIEVING KNEE JOINT

Invention describes a method for drawing a trajectory of movement of a knee hinge joint. This is done by taking X-ray images in at least four positions of the knee movement. A trajectory of movement of rotatory centre of Condylus lateralis and Condylus medialis is drawn on the basis of the X-ray images. Further the invention describes a construction of knee joint orthosis made according to the trajectory made by the method described previously. The orthosis is to be put on hips. It consists of two semi-elastic dismountable hip cuffs linked by vertical splints. The splints connect two horizontal shin cuffs also. Splints are connected by right lateral and frontally upward displaced medial anthropomorphic hinge joint providing fully linked repeatable movements in sagital and horizontal planes.
