The orthosis (1) has upper and lower part (2, 3) pivotably connected with each other by a joint device (4) around a pivot axis and including devices for fixing the orthosis at a body part i.e. extremity. A truss pad is detachably fastened at the orthosis and arranged in a space between the joint device and the body part. The pad is designed as a fillable hollow body and connected with a valve. The pad is filled with filling medium by the valve. Axle devices (42, 43) of the joint device include a through hole, where the medium is introduced into the pad through the through hole.
