PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYPROPYLENE RESIN CONTAINING PHOTOCHROMIC COMPOUNDS AND POLYPROPYLENE YARN PRODUCED USING POLYPROPYLENE RESIN

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a polypropylene resin which has uniform color concentration and improved photochromic property, and from which photochromic compound does not separated or isolated. CONSTITUTION: The polypropylene resin is produced by the steps of (i) dissolving a photochromic compound into mixed organic solvent comprising toluene, methylethyl ketone, and n-hexane, and adding a polypropylene resin to the mixture solution to react the resin and the solution; and (ii) drying the reacted polypropylene resin. The mixed organic solvent comprises 20-70 parts by weight of toluene, 20-65 parts by weight of methylethyl ketone, and 5-35 parts by weight of n-hexane. The polypropylene is reacted at 60-95 deg.C for 6-9 hours.
