SUBUNIT VACCINE AGAINST AVIAN TYPHOID BASED ON PROTEINS OF THE OUTER MEMBRANE OF SALMONELLA GALLINARUM

摘要

The invention concerns the development of a novel vaccine based on proteins of the outer membrane of Salmonella gallinarum. Said vaccine provides excellent protection against avian typhoid. The method for making said vaccine consists in extracting and purifying proteins of the outer membrane of Salmonella gallinarum. The invention also concerns a diagnostic tool for Salmonella gallinarum infections which entail huge economic losses in industrial poultry farming.
