A folding bed with a central dolly (1) is disclosed, wherein the dolly (1) comprises two separate parts that can be assembled together: a trestle made of a shaped tubular bar which forms two side shoulders (5) and supporting base sections (4), and two box members (2) of plastic material that are mounted and snap fastened on the trestle shoulders (5) and that are equipped at their ends with seats (13) for the pivotal connection of side parts (6) of the folding bed.
