The optical sensor comprises a substrate (1) having electrodes (3), a light receiving element (2) electrically connected with the electrodes (3), and a translucent resin sealing unit (11) for sealing the light receiving element (2) on the substrate (1), the optical sensor further comprising an infrared blocking layer provided inside or the outer surface of the translucent resin sealing unit (11) to block an infrared ray from the outside from reaching the light receiving element.
