THE HEEL PART OF THE CROSS COUNTRY SKI BINDING WITH A SUITABLY DESIGNED HEEL OF THE CROSS COUNTRY SKI BOOT

The heel part of the cross country ski binding with the suitably designed heel of the cross country ski boot according to the invention enables good torsion stability at push off and at the same time assures such position of the boot and accordingly of the foot and tibia, which enables the optimal conversation of the push off power and the energy of the runner into the skiing speed. The heel part of the binding (1) for cross country skiing according to the invention is realized in single piece, wherein the basic part (6) is designed as slightly projected, the oblique side walls (7a, 7b), realized on both sides, have trapezoid form and straight upper surfaces (9a, 9b) in the side-view. The cross country ski boot heel is suitably adapted to the form of the heel part of the binding according to the invention in the way, that on the outer and the inner heel side the edges (10) with properly designed landing (11) surgaces and contact surfaces (12) are realized, which accord with the side walls (7a, 7b) of the heel part of the binding (1).
