PURPOSE: A method for analyzing a protein micro array is provided to precisely and rapidly analyze the protein micro array by using a surface plasmon resonant imaging technique. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of protein spots are aligned in transverse and longitudinal directions of a protein micro array. The protein micro array is placed on an X-Y stage(13). Then, p-polarizing light passes through a prism in such a manner that the p-polarizing light sequentially radiates onto each protein spot of the protein micro array. Signals reflected from each spot of the protein micro array are collected by means of a spectrometer(17) so as to obtain plasmon signals. The protein spots of the protein micro array are converted into pixels aligned in transverse and longitudinal directions of the protein micro array and the pixels are sequentially scanned.
