PURPOSE: A simultaneous closure preventing interlock device is provided to prevent accidents by preventing the simultaneous closure of two mechanisms through the use of a mechanical locking operation. CONSTITUTION: A simultaneous closure preventing interlock device(300) comprises a pair of interlock bars(302,302') arranged at both sides of the interlock device in such a manner that the ends of the interlock bars are connected to manual operating disks(104,204) of a first mechanism(100) and a second mechanism(200), respectively; and an interlock link(303) which permits the interlock bars to be freely bent, wherein the interlock link cooperates with the interlock bars so as to form a straight line when one of the first and second mechanisms is turned into a closed state, and suppresses rotation of the manual operating disks so as to prevent the other of the first and second mechanisms from being turned into a closed state.
