PURPOSE: A nursing robot and a nursing robot monitoring system are provided to install a patient terminal at the section of the patient body to determine the state of the patient so as to send data to a central control center to nurse the patient. CONSTITUTION: A nursing robot monitoring system is composed of a nursing robot(9) for collecting information about the state of a patient, a terminal(30) for communicating with the nursing robot, and a central control center(40) for managing the patient by using the information from the nursing robot connected to the terminal with a network. The robot includes a moving unit, an image detector for avoiding barrier, a body signal measuring unit for detecting the state of the patient, a memory for storing current signals, original signals, dangerous ranges, safety ranges, and robot programs, a comparator for comparing the current body signals with the stored original signals, and a controller for controlling the robot based on results from the comparator.
