PURPOSE: Provided is a blue light-emitting compound containing a heterocycle for use in organic electroluminescence devices, which solves the problems of conventional phenyl-containing blue light-emitting compounds such as low solubility in a solvent and difficulties in recrystallization and sublimation followed by limitation in purity. CONSTITUTION: The blue-light emitting compound for organic electroluminescence devices is represented by formula 1, wherein X is O or S, and each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 represents H, -CH3 or -C(CH3)3. The compound of formula 1 is prepared by the method comprising the steps of: (1) reacting a bromodiphenylmethane derivative represented by formula 2 with triethoxyphosphite to obtain a diphenylethoxy phosphoryl methane derivative; and (2) reacting the diphenylethoxy phosphoryl methane derivative with 2,5-thiophene dicarboaldehyde or 2,5-furandicarboaldehyde.
