PURPOSE: Provided are a blue light emitting compound for organic electroluminescent element, which can provide high purity of material, a method for preparing the same, and an organic electroluminescent element using the same. CONSTITUTION: The compound is represented by the formula 1. In the formula 1, Ar is or , each R1 and R2 is H, -CH3 or -C(CH3)3. The compound is prepared by the method comprising the steps of (i) reacting a bromodiphenylmethane derivative of formula 1 with triethoxyphosphite to obtain a diphenylethoxyphosphorylmethane derivative of formula 3, (ii) reacting the compound of formula 3 with 4-bromobenzaldehyde to obtain a 1-bromo-4-(2,2-diphenylvinyl)benzene derivative of formula 4, and (iii) reacting the compound of the step with any one of 4-vinylpyridine, 4-vinylthiophene or 2-vinyl-4-ethylthiophene to obtain a compound of formula 1. In the formulas 2,3, and 4, R1 and R2 are the same as the formula 1.
