SIMULATION BASED VERIFICATION DEVICE ENHANCING VERIFICATION PERFORMANCE AND SIMULATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A simulation based verification device enhancing verification performance and a simulation method using the same are provided to shorten entire simulation time, and find out a position of an error existing in a design code accurately and quickly by quickly advancing the additional simulation with one simulator sequentially or with more than two simulators in parallel. CONSTITUTION: While performing the first simulation by adding an additional code to the design code through an automatic method, a verification software(32) automatically collects the minimum information, which is needed for making the simulation after the first simulation restricted to the specified simulation sections or the specified blocks existing in the design code, from a process of the first simulation. While performing the first simulation using a simulator(34), the verification software collects the minimum information and performs the simulation after the first simulation quickly by using the collected information.
