PURPOSE: A shift assembly for a single fork shift assembly is provided to reduce power consumption and the size and the weight of the electric motor, and to improve the reliability by shifting accurately with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A shift assembly for a single rail shift mechanism is composed of a motor(130) having a first gear(126), a second gear(122) engaged with the first gear to restrict a rotating shaft, a driving pin(118) extended from the second gear and inclined from the rotating shaft in the radial direction, and a shift fork(106) restricting a slot(116) for containing the driving pin. The translation of the shift fork is performed by the rotation of the motor. The first gear is formed of a worm gear, and the shift fork is arranged on a shift rail(112). The shift rail is vertically extended to the slot.
