DUST COLLECTOR EQUIPPED WITH VENTURI SCRUBBER HAVING VARIABLE THROAT FOR WASTE GASIFIER

PURPOSE: To keep the flow rate of a dust-laden gas constant at the throat of a venturi scrubber for a waste gasifier by varying cross-sectional area of a throat part of the venturi scrubber, thereby keeping dust removal rate constant even if an amount of dust-laden gas from a waste gasifier being fluctuated. CONSTITUTION: The dust collector comprises a venturi scrubber(20) with spray nozzles(22) through which water is sprayed; an automatic flow regulator(30) installed on a gas discharge part(28) of the venturi scrubber; a hydraulic oil tank(100) where a supply line(94) and a discharge line(96) are respectively connected to the automatic flow regulator by interposing each pressure control valve(90,92) to supply and discharge hydraulic oil and a control means controlling the operation of the automatic flow regulator by controlling the pressure control valve.
