Polyhydroxyalkanoic Acid-Producing Microorganism and Method for Manufacturing Polyhydroxyalkanoic Acid Using the Same

PURPOSE: A polyhydroxyalkanoic acid(PHA)-producing microorganism and a method for manufacturing polyhydroxyalkanoic acid using the same are provided, thereby effectively and cheaply producing PHA containing a large quantity of unsaturated monomer. CONSTITUTION: An unsaturated monomer-containing polyhydroxyalkanoic acid-producing microorganism, Pseudomonas fluorescens BM07(KCTC 10005BP), using saccharides or divalent carboxylic acid is provided, wherein the saccharide is fructose; and unsaturated monomer is 3-hydroxy-cis-5-dodecenoic acid, 3-hydroxy-cis-7-tetradecenoic acid or a mixture thereof. A method for manufacturing polyhydroxyalkanoic acid comprises culturing Pseudomonas fluorescens BM07(KCTC 10005BP) in a medium containing saccharides or divalent carboxylic acid, and obtaining PHA from the cultured medium.
