Video phone having a function of VoIP-based internet phone

PURPOSE: A video phone combined with a VoIP-based Internet phone is provided to add an Internet access communication environment to a video phone for residents to use Internet phone services through video phones free or inexpensively. CONSTITUTION: A microcontroller(105) executes the overall control function of a video phone(100). A key input part(110) outputs a key signal, inputted by a resident, to the microcontroller(105). A memory part(115) stores a control program to control various functions of the video phone(100) and a control program to normally input and output voice signals. A camera(120) photographs the figure of a visitor or the circumstances of the entrance and outputs the photographed image signal to a video CODEC(125). The video CODEC(125) outputs the image signal to a display part(130) according to the control of the microcontroller(105). If necessary, the video CODEC(125) encodes the image signal and stores it in the memory part(115). The display part(130) displays various image signals inputted from the video CODEC(125) according to the control of the microcontroller(105).
