Computer readable medium storing XML based data platform for representing product information using in electronic commerce system

PURPOSE: A recording medium capable of being read by a computer including a data platform based on an XML(eXtensible Markup Language) is provided to improve a general-purpose characteristic, hierarchically express a commodity classification and commodity information, and integrally express various commodity attributes by separately expressing an inherent element and a common element with respect to all commodity information being used in an electronic commerce system. CONSTITUTION: A header portion expresses common information of at least one commodity. A body portion expresses detailed information of at least one commodity, respectively. The body portion includes classification/identification information and commodity information with respect to at least one commodity. The classification/identification information includes a classification information element for indicating a classification information of a commodity, an identification information element for indicating an identification key, and a pattern information element for indicating an additional pattern information of a commodity. The commodity information includes a basic information element for indicating an original value of a commodity, a selling information element for indicating selling information of a commodity seller, and an added value information element for indicating added value information being supplied by a client. The classification information element indicates classification information of a commodity hierarchically.
