Primers used in performing polymerase chain reaction for predicting the likehood of obesity

PURPOSE: PCR Primers for prediction of possibility of obesity are provided, thereby possibility of obesity can be predicted, so that obesity can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: The PCR primers capable of binding with single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) consist of a sense sequence primer having a nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 3, and an antisense sequence primer having a nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NOs: 2 and 4, wherein the single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) is caused by substitution of a codon 16 of human β2-adrenalin receiptor from adenine(A) to guanine(G). A kit for prediction of possibility of obesity contains a set of PCR primers selected from one set consisting of primers having the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2, or another set consisting of primers having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NOs: 3 and 4.
