Invention claims the novel heptapeptide: lysyl-glutamyl-aspartyl-alanyl-prolyl-glycyl-proline of the general formula: Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala-Pro-Gly-Pro eliciting stimulating and regulating effect on protein synthesis in hepatocytes. Proposed heptapeptide shows ability to effect biochemical parameters in function of endogenous opioid system. Heptapeptide doesn't elicit psychotropic effect and doesn't affect psychomotor activity of animals in used behavioral tests.
