A process for the correction of relative movements between the measurement object and measuring probe, measurement errors arising on a measuring robot with the following steps:– Detection of the translatory accelerations on the pushbutton,– Sensing at least one rotational acceleration at the push button,– Detection of the translatory accelerations at or near the measurement object,– Sensing at least one rotational acceleration at or near the measurement object,– Calculating correction data from the measured accelerations of push button and the measurement object, the relative movements of the push button and the measurement object, and– Correcting the measured values received from the measuring robot with the correction data.
