Method for regulating a combustion process, especially for a burner in which a measurement, especially an ionization, sensor is placed in a combustion area and delivers a combustion dependent signal. The signal is subject to signal processing in order to set a fuel-air ratio. Said signal processing involves spectral frequency analysis for generation of a regulation signal. An Independent claim is made for an arrangement for regulation of a burner combustion process.
