Internal combustion engine operating method for applying a turbo-supercharger, involves using fuel consumption calculated in advance to detect maximum engine torque desired value
An up-to-date engine torque desired value is detected from a maximum engine torque desired value and an original engine torque desired value. The maximum engine torque desired value is detected from fuel consumption (KVvor) calculated in advance, which is itself detected from a fuel volume flow desired value (KMsoll) per cylinder and an up-to-date engine torque value (Mist).
