The suction head acts with a sweeper roller. The moveable head (1) is mounted in a suction shaft (2) via a frame (3) consisting of inner and outer frame sections (4,5). The frame is held on the shaft via a joint unit (6) and is connected via further joint units (13,14) to a piston-cylinder-unit (9), for movement in two stages and pivot movement in opposite directions. The frame is connected with its outer frame part via a joint (7) and a joint unit (13) to the sweeper (0). The frame sections are connected via a joint (8) for scissors-like opening movement, via an active lifting movement of the piston-cylinder-unit.
