The gripper, made from stainless steel, aluminium or composition material, consists of a fixed fork (2) with teeth (1) connected by a transverse bar (9). It is fitted to the end section of a digger manipulator arm (5) so that it interacts with a bucket (8) pivoted to the arm. A long or awkward load such as a tree trunk, branch or boulder can be picked up between the bucket and the gripper without the latter having to move or be equipped with a drive. In addition, the gripper can be fitted and removed quickly by means hooks (7) and a pivot pin (4).
