PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic contract system which not only reduces time, as much as possible, which an operator spends for answering to one customer but also reduces a load on the operator and labor costs, and also provide an automatic contact reception machine and an automatic contract method thereof. PSOLUTION: The automatic contract reception machine 1 automatically recognizes, by means of an OCR processing program 11-1, a character string representing personal information described in a contract-related document read by a scanner 14, displays the character string thus automatically recognized together with a correction candidate character corresponding to each character of the character string on a touch-panel type display 12, corrects the corresponding character of the character string thus automatically recognized with an indicated correction candidate character obtained by the selection and indication of the correction candidate character thus displayed, and then transmits the corrected character to a center side processing terminal to process the procedures relating to the contract.
