PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating element to be buried, which has a sufficient load-carrying capacity and which is lightweight and excellent in workability and thermal conductivity, and an asphalt pavement structure.;SOLUTION: This heating element to be buried is constituted by being covered with a linear/planar heating element which is used as a heating element by installing an electrode in the warp or woof of a woven fabric composed of a conductive fiber, a flexible sheet layer for covering the periphery of the linear/planar heating element, an asphalt covering sheet layer which covers the periphery of the flexible sheet so as to prevent the intrusion of an asphalt component, and a sheet layer which includes asphalt for covering the periphery of the asphalt covering sheet layer. This can bring about the heating element to be buried, which has the sufficient load-bearing capacity in construction, and which is lightweight, excellent in the workability and the thermal conductivity, and capable of melting snow with high heat efficiency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
