PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for monitoring a power generation facility in relation to occurrence of a predetermined event, and for providing a recommendation dealing with the predetermined event to prevent or solve a problem.;SOLUTION: This method includes: a step for collecting operation data related to the power generation facility and for storing the operation data in the installation location of the power generation facility; a step for analyzing the operation data collected from the power generation facility in the installation location of the power generation facility to determine whether or not any predetermined event has occurred during the operation of the facility; a step for storing history data related to the operation of a power generation facility group in a location different from the installation location of the power generation facility; a step for storing the collected operation data, and an arbitrary decision related to the occurrence of any predetermined event in the power generation facility in a location different from the installation location of the power generation facility; and a step for determining whether or not any predetermined events has occurred by using the operation data, the event data and history data to determine a coping procedure to the occurrence of an arbitrary predetermined event in the power generation facility when the predetermined event has occurred.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
