PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of spherical reclaimed foaming styrenic resin particles from drawn pellets. PSOLUTION: The method of producing reclaimed foaming styrenic resin particles comprises: suspending reclaimed styrenic resin pellets of each with a cylindrical shape having the length of 5.0 mm, diameter of 3.0 mm and a size shrinkage rate along the length-wise direction of 50 % in an aqueous medium as nuclei, successively impregnating the styrenic pellets with a polymerization initiator and a styrenic monomer, then adding a styrenic monomer to the pellets to carry out polymerization, and impregnating the pellets with a foaming agent at a temperature 100 C. The ratio of the reclaimed styrene-based resin pellets to the reclamation foaming styrenic particles is 70 wt.%. The spherical reclaimed styrenic resin particles are prepared by the above method.
