PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for enhancing the EPG presentation of programming information to support an audience when finding out a broadcast program and a service that the audience is interested in for looking and listening. PSOLUTION: The audience of televisions selects an object that the audience is interested in for looking and listening and corresponding highlight processing from an user interface. Enhanced electronic programming guide (EPG) display is outputted and a show on the television within the programming range, a channel, and a time frame are included. The show on the television having characteristics fitting into the object that the audience of the television selects and is interested in for looking and listening is displayed on on EPG display enhanced with the corresponding highlight processing.
