PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coordinating a vehicle stability system with an external vehicle dynamics control system with each other and corresponding vehicle stability system so that these systems do not interfere or block with each other.;SOLUTION: In the method for coordinating vehicle stability system with the external vehicle dynamics control system, the two systems (1 to 6) of the vehicle stability systems (VSS, 1 to 3) and the external vehicle dynamics control systems (4 to 6) process various controller variables (So, P, S). The method comprises a step to prepare the controller variables (So, P, S) in the external vehicle dynamics control systems (4 to 6), a step to determine a resulting value (Gerg) formed based on the predetermined functions from the external controller variables and the VSS controller variables (So, P, S), and a step to take into account the resulting value (Gerg) when controlling the vehicle stability systems (1 to 3).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
